I couldn't stand the Firefox toolbar and other assorted "scanners" that came with it. I was impressed with Microsoft's offering so much I uninstalled AVG from all work computers, saving money in the process. Now Microsoft have their own free version, I have switched simply because no one should know their own OS better than the creators. I will wait and see what AVG come back with however, they don't have a solid reputation in the paid corporate world for nothing...
