Just because it&#039;s what I do, I must &quot;give&quot; you something in return:) The patent for Pop-Up Toaster will actually be celebrating its 90th anniversary on May 29. It was patented by a man by the name of Charles Strite. Since I haven&#039;t posted about him yet, hope to this year, here is a link from the &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.ideafinder.com/history/inventions/toaster.htm&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Idea Finder&lt;/a&gt;
