Do you ever have days where you are online, surfing the web and run out of things to do? You kind of sit for a while pondering the meaning of life whilst you are sat there bored out of your mind…well there is a new and surprisingly entertaining website that i have stumbled across that really is quite amusing.
Launching on just the 25th March 2009 there are currently over 4359 users online at any one time; leading it to be dubbed to new ‘secret’ style Facebook.
If weird, sometimes highly humorous conversation is your thing then this website is absolutely for you. Omegle is the newest form of social networking sites with an unusual slant; it involves pure anonymity where the other person is only identified as ‘stranger’. As you log in it shows that you are connected to a ‘stranger’ and prompts you to say hello.
Some of the welcomes that you receive are..different to say the least, and to get the most out of this site you really need to accept the fact that you will get trolls and spammers galore; however every now and then you really can strike up an intellectual random conversation that really does pass the time and help relieve boredom!
